    WITH OVER 240 PLAYERS AND 33 TEAMS, IT IS TAKING US TIME. WE HOPE YOU WILL RECEIVE AN INITIAL EMAIL WITH YOUR ROSTER, COACH AND ASSIGNED PRACTICE TIME BY WEDNESDAY THE 30TH.
    PLEASE REMEMBER PRACTICE DOES NOT BEGIN UNTIL MONDAY NOVEMBER 4TH.

  • Our ability to hold practices depends heavily on the cooperation and support from local schools.

  • Securing space requires coordination between Facility Use, principals, coaches, supervisors, and the Booster Club.

  • Because of this, our practice schedule remains tentative, as availability can change unexpectedly.

  • While we've planned ahead, changes to space availability may still occur. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work through these challenges. This is a common issue for all local programs.

  • Each team will have one weekly practice at Allatoona, Pickett’s Mill, Durham, and The Grove, with days and times set at the start of the season based on available facilities. Coaches have the opportunity to select their preferred practice schedule, typically between 6 PM and 9 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and possibly Thursdays.

  • All team assignments, including practice details, will be provided by October 27th at midnight.

ABOUT ALLATOONA BOYS YOUTH BASKETBALL

Rebranded in 2023, Allatoona Boys Youth Basketball (ABYB) is dedicated solely to boys playing basketball. Allatoona Basketball has a long standing history of talented boys in the program and this starts at the recreational levels.

ABYB is Allatoona Basketball program's boys recreational league. Our season runs from November (1st games weekend after Thanksgiving) through beginning of February, ending with a week of play-offs and tournaments. We have teams for boys 1st - 8th grades.
